Like the main Monaco Grand Prix, the Monaco Historic Grand Prix is organised by the Automobile Club de Monaco. However, the Monaco Historic Grand Prix takes place bi-annually, usually a week before the Formula One Grand Prix in May. It is the ideal event for the classic car enthusiast, recreating the golden age of motor car racing and celebrating the Monaco motor racing heritage. You'll find all sorts of vintage racing cars competing, from 1930s Maseratis and Alfa Romeos, to the Ferraris and Porsches of the 1950s, through to the Formula One cars of the 1970s. The Monaco Historic Grand Prix is a must see for those wishing to see these classic racing cars in action.
